Paneer Kati Rolls
If you've never had paneer before, here's your chance to try it. Made with cow or buffalo milk, paneer is a set, non-melting soft cheese which has mild, slightly acidic notes and absorbs the flavours of any sauce it's cooked in. Here we pair it with our Jalfrezi Spice & Stir Sauce and serve it in a wrap for a light snack.

Whether you wrap these tight to enjoy street food style or keep them loose to serve with a fresh salad, these Kati rolls are super versatile. We’ve used our soon-to-be-launched Roti Flatbreads, but you can use any chappati or wrap until then.
Ingredients
2 packs (400g) paneer, diced into 1 cm cubes
1 jar Geeta’s Jalfrezi Spice & Stir Sauce
1 pack Geeta’s Onion & Paprika Roti Flatbreads (or your choice of wrap)
80g baby spinach
1 onion, sliced
1 red pepper, sliced
Method
- Preheat the oven to 220°C/ 200°C fan/ gas mark 7
- Coat the paneer in the spice from the top of the sauce jar
- Place the paneer, onions and pepper on a baking tray and roast for 20 to 25 minutes
- Warm the sauce in a pan and tip in the paneer, onions and pepper
- Warm the roti flatbreads or wraps and layer each one with baby spinach leaves
- Spoon over the paneer and wrap tightly to serve
How We Serve Ours
If you like things a little messy, you can leave each wrap open – that way, you’ll get a better paneer-to-flatbread ratio! We like to spice things up with some slices of green chilli and some freshly chopped coriander to garnish.
